so it turns out fong seng caught fire, that would be the nasi lemak place behind hall. i think it was a small fire, cos the building still stands, probably some cosmetic damages, and the store is closed for 3 days, so jack said no chicken wing! oh no!! (insert multitude of grumbles).
so she has her conspiracy theory i'm supposed to tell you, undiscerning reader (she claims to be true. right, miss A1-for-english. theory. true?).
~chinese place next door wants to enter the nasi lemak market, and needs to be rid of competition because prata place sells nasi lemak, fong seng sells nasi lemak, and chinese place is jealous of the constant crowds at both stalls. they offered to buy the secret to the fong seng chili, but mr FS refused to budge. so chinese food place sets fire fong seng. thankfully, fong seng being open 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, they spotted the fire before it went out of control. now, they're closed to repair whatever damages.~
we both pray for the well being of the chili fry-er, or at least the person who holds the recipe to the awesome chili. i hope fong seng's back open tonight..
